Position Overview
The Staff Accountant plays a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the integrity of all trust and operating account activity. This position is responsible for property‑level and company‑level accounting, including payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and insurance compliance. You will work closely with the Property Manager, CFO, owners, tenants, and vendors to support the financial health of the organization.

The Staff Accountant plays a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the integrity of all trust and operating account activity. This position is responsible for property‑level and company‑level accounting, including payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and insurance compliance. You will work closely with the Property Manager, CFO, owners, tenants, and vendors to support the financial health of the organization.
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable (Property Management Focus)
- Financial Reporting

- Banking (Trust & Operating Accounts)
- High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of property management accounting experience or Associate/Bachelor’s in Accounting with 3–5 years of experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with QuickBooks; Buildium preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational ability.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
